I know what you mean when you say, "much as my darling husband hates to hear it". My husband hates it when I spend more money on plants/flowers, gardening magazines and books than I do bills or food......(I can't imagine why). I guess it may have something to do with the fact that I will spend more time gardening than I will housekeeping, cooking, interior decorating, etc.....LOL!
